Fake motor oil seized by NBI

MORE than 2,000 containers of motor oil worth more than P1 million were seized by operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation during a series of raids on seven establishments reportedly engaged in an unauthorized sale of motor oil in Manila and Pasay City.

In a report reaching the office of NBI Director Magtanggol Gatdula, the raided establishments were located at 622 V. Tytana St. (formerly Oriente St.), Binondo, Manila; Malibay Auto Supply, located at 805 E. de los Santos Ave., Pasay City; Unit on the Right Side of Malibay Auto Supply, located at 805 E. de los Santos Ave., Pasay City, with a signage of “Hi Quartz Auto Parts Center” and Green Accordion Steel Door and Lawton Auto Supply Inc. located at 1056 Pedro Gil St., Paco, Manila.

Reports said the raids were conducted following the complaint filed by Castrol Limited/Taw and Associates regarding the alleged rampant unauthorized sale of the motor oil by these firms.

The raids were conducted by operatives of the NBI Intellectual Property Rights Division by virtue of search warrants issued by Judge Amor Reyes of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 21.

A total of 1,837 containers of 1-liter and 722 containers of 4-liter lubricant oil bearing trademarks of Castrol Limited were seized during the operations. The seized items are worth P1,041,072.00 in the market, the bureau reported.

ilan km ka kung magpalit?

sa petron oil ko basta kung ano mauna kung sa tingin ko malabnaw or maitim or 1K km.

oldies na motor ko kaya dapat alagaan na sa langis


mag kano lang ang langis kaysa sa presyo ng parts at abala gagawin sa akin niyan

pafs more or less 1000km ang palit ko ng langis or kung magriride tapos lampas na ng 500km, changeoil na ako.tama kayo papa ying, mura ang langis kung icocompare mo sa abala at parts ng makina na masisira dahil sa pagtitipid sa langis....

Mabuti na lang Top1 ang langis ko, P300/liter sa ATCO near Pasay rotonda, sa iba kasi P330-350..
Kapit bahay ko lang ang Malibay ah, malamang talamak din yan sa ibang mga auto supply sa Pasay..
Ganyan din ang ginagawa kong obserbasyon sa langis,, not necessary every 1000-2000km, reference ko lang yun. Lalot bagong sahod, I usually check the condition and physical appearance ng oil, pati performance nya kung mabilis mag init ang makina, kung malakas mag vibrate and kung mahirap mag chance shift sa kambio.. palit kung duda ka.. ang option ko na mas mura ay Shell VSX
